Dental Crown

Crowns are essentially what you might guess–covers for your teeth. A crown covers a damaged or misshapen tooth so it is restored to its normal shape and size.

When Would I Need A Dental Crown?

Instances where a crown may be necessary include covering and supporting a tooth with a large filling when there isn’t enough natural tooth left, attaching a bridge, protecting a weak tooth from breaking, restoring a tooth that is already broken, or covering a dental implant.

Regardless of why Dr. Hodge recommends a dental crown, you can be sure that a crown will restore oral function and your smile.

From the first phone call to setup my first visit, I felt comfortable with Dr. Hodge's office. He was a referral from a friend who had seen him for the first time about 2 years ago. I was embarrassed I had waited so long to see a new Dentist since... moving out of Seattle 10 years ago. But they put me at ease and didn't shame me. They were just glad I had finally made it in.This was probably one of the most thorough first dental visits I've experienced. The technology for doing x-rays was much less painful and quicker than in the past. They continuously tell you what they are doing as they do it, warning you of any potential discomfort you might feel. They're constantly checking in with you to see how you're doing, letting you know they can stop if you need them to. Then they do a great job giving you a thorough report on where things stand with your teeth and gums. If any work is needed, they let you know the order of priority in which they recommend the work be done. The office is very clean and hygienic. It's certainly setup to protect you as much as possible from Covid-19 exposure. Both the Hygienist and Dentist are wonderful and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this dental office!read more
